Cory Beaver



Mr. Beaver  is a consulting geologist with experience in both economic geology and environmental geology fields.  He has 5 years of experience working in precious metals and 3 years of experience in various aspects of groundwater hydrology and related drilling and monitoring programs in various parts of the central United States.  He has worked for Evolving Gold Corp, Thompson Creek Mine, U.S. Geological Survey, Pinyon Environmental, and the South Dakota Geological Survey.  He has been involved in oversight of drilling at Island Mountain since 2012 and in various aspects of field mapping and data analysis for that project. 

Mr. Beaver received his B.Sc. degree in Geology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  He also plans to enroll at the Colorado School of Mines to pursue a M.Sc. degree in Geology later in 2014.  Tentatively, his thesis will be on the Island Mountain gold-silver deposit. He is a member of the American Geophysical Union, Geological Society of America, and Society of Economic Geologists.
